While I was pregnant with Oscar I attended a pregnancy course. Here are 4 of the babies including Oscar on the far left.

Roos and I decided to take Diederik, Oscar, Stijn and Loed to the Zoo. We managed to walk 300 meters in 2 hours I think and the only animals the boys saw where the monkeys. For the rest they where busy with all the non animal attractions around. During our visit to the zoo lunchroom Diederik managed to put the restaurants stereo on very loud and before any of the staff had time to turn it off he entertaind the 30 or so other guests trying to enjoy their lunch with a dance performance.

Diederik fell asleep before we even left the parking lot and before he managed to take a bite from his cockie...A managed to take the picture when I was infront of a redlight.

Monica and Mum came to visit over Christmas, which was really nice. We made a traditional Swedish Smorgasbord and luckily Dutch family enjoyed it was well. Mum had the honour of playing Santa, and she did it very well, Diederik was very impressed by Santa and couldn't stop starring at him/her.

Just before X-mas it was really cold and even the little lake close to our house froze. The whole neighbourhood got very excited, and the lake was soon after the photo was taken filled with young children, parents and grandparents iceskating, some for the first time in years and some for the first time ever. Everyone with a big smile on their face.

Anna, Erik and Sebastian came to stay with us for 5 days over New Years, and Monica dicided to stay as well, so we had a full house, just like always :) Sebastian and Diederik had a lot of fun playing togehter, if they weren't fighting over a toy, and so did we, the older generation ....

I started working again last week, and I have to say I really enjoy working again, although it's perfect working 3 days a week, I wouldn't work more. Oscar had a hard time the first two days in the chresche but yesterday he had a very good day so I hope he will enjoy it as much as Diederik does from now on. Yesterday Jan Mark turned 38 only two years from the big 40!

Today Diederik had suregery on his ears. It all went very well and we hope that he will no longer have pain in his ears.

It was not nice seeing him be put under narcoses but it all went very fast, and after 10 minutes we had him on a bed infront of us sleeping and a few minutes later he was awake, hugging Elkie in my arms.
